Ordered my birthday cake from Mysisterbakes. The baker couldn't deliver the original design that I had in mind but she made some suggestions and this is the final result. When I first saw it, I love it so much that I keep staring at it throughout the car ride back to our hotel. I was so disappointed after ordering twice from another well-known online bakery because not only the design was ugly, it tasted horrible. Thus, I didn't keep my hopes high for this one. However, I was pleasantly surprise because it's exactly what I imagined it would turn out to be! This cake actually gave me the most trouble because it couldn't fit into the hotel fridge. We were so desperate that we drove back to the baker's house to see if we can keep it with her for another day but her fridge was full too. I was in such a bad mood that I probably sound rude to her over the phone. Very very sorry about that! Thank god, in the end, my cousin managed to clear a space in her fridge for me. Total time taken to find a space for this cake: 2 hours. lol. The top tier is green-tea flavour and the bottom tier is earl grey flavour. It tasted so damn good I swear! Not trying to be haolian or whatever, but this is the best birthday cake I have ever eaten out of all the parties I attended. hahahaha. If you are going to have a birthday party, please source for your cake in advance, esp if you are ordering online because it took me 20+ emails to finalise the design. One month would be good in case the other party is slow in replying emails. More importantly, make sure there's a space in your fridge if you're ordering a two-tier cake.
